DINE Launch Monthly Cocktail Club with a Twist
Scotland’s ever evolving cocktail scene shows no sign of slowing down but if you’re failing to keep up with the latest drinks to be sipping, let the experts at Dine lead the way. The award-winning brasserie, cocktail lounge and bar in Edinburgh’s city centre is now running an exclusive monthly Cocktail Club to help the Capital’s cocktail lovers discover the latest spirits, techniques and flavours.
Taking place on a select Monday of each month, Cocktail Club will also mix it up with brand takeover nights as well as cameo appearances from some of the city’s top bartenders, exclusive tasting masterclasses and themed evenings with Dine’s talented mixologists at the helm. Guests will have the chance to brush up on cocktail making skills before the world’s biggest mixology festival, Tales of the Cocktail on Tour 2017, comes to town at the beginning of April. The inaugural Cocktail Club will be held on 3 April with a brand takeover night from Casamigos Tequila, owned by Rande Gerber and George Clooney. Tickets cost £10 which includes three cocktails and the event runs from 7-9pm. Located above the Traverse Theatre, next door to the Usher Hall, Dine offers relaxed brasserie-style dining at affordable prices; with inventive market menus designed using fresh, local, seasonal and sustainable produce.
Dine bar manager Clay Thomson explains. “Forget the usual run of the mill cocktails. Cocktail Club at Dine is a chance to get creative, learn about the latest in-trend ingredients, and find out what bartenders are, themselves, drinking. From Corn n’ Oils to Sazeracs, and everything in between, the monthly event gives you a chance to understand the method behind what you’re imbibing as well as sample some truly delicious cocktails in the slick surroundings of the lounge at Dine.”
