Grange’s Scottish international Cammy Fraser (white shirt) evades a challenge against Kelburne

Grange comfortably disposed of Grove Menzieshill 8-1 in last Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final at rain-lashed Peffermill in Edinburgh. The teams meet again on Saturday (12.30pm) at Fettes in a key Division One clash.

Currently, second-placed Grange have 22 points from nine league games having won seven and drawn one before last Saturday’s 3-0 road defeat at champions Bromac Kelburne.

Grove have 19 points from nine fixtures having won six, drawn one and lost two.

Grange have a better goal difference having scored 36 and conceded 18 while the Dundee side have scored 30 and lost 19.

Andrew Brogdon, one of Grange’s coaches, is convinced Saturday will be a different game from the one at Peffermill.

Elsewhere, Edinburgh University, who are fourth with 13 points, travel to bottom club AAM Gordonians (15.30) who earned their first point of the season last Saturday when they drew 3-3 with former league pace-setters Watsonians.

PSL Team Sport Clydesdale, who are second bottom with eight points, seven ahead of Gordonians, host Watsonians (16.00) and this is a key game for the Edinburgh side who have ten points and desperately want to stay in the top flight.

Elsewhere, long-time leaders Kelburne visit a Western Wildcats side (14.00) fresh from their narrow 4-3 win over Hillhead and mid-table Uddingston Deans Eng, who are sixth, host (15.00) fifth-placed Hilhead.
