The Cullen Property team responds to interest in Edinburgh property market from South African investors
Edinburgh property investment and lettings specialist Cullen Property is hosting a seminar in Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday 21st February following a rise in the number of investors from South Africa investing in Edinburgh property.
Since 1998, Cullen Property has continued to help investors build their portfolio by sourcing and acquiring suitable residential property, as well as refurbishing, furnishing and letting properties on behalf of clients. The Cullen Property team currently manages circa 400 properties in Edinburgh.
Malcolm Warrack, Managing Director at Cullen Property, says: “I am really looking forward to our first visit to Cape Town and showing potential investors what Edinburgh has to offer. Edinburgh has become an extremely desirable city for property investment globally. Not only does it have the strongest economy of any UK city outside London, but with the large student population, increasing development and high demand for property, net rental returns are typically between 5.0% – 7.0%.”
“With the high costs and taxation in London, we’re finding that more and more investors are looking for property outside the UK capital and interest in Edinburgh is steady and increasing.”
