Police are anxious to trace Linzi Davis, aged 36, and River Bain, aged eight, who are missing from an address in Auldearn.

The mother and son were last seen close to Nairn Train station on Friday 27th January 2017 and have subsequently failed to make contact with family or friends.

The mother and son have links in Nairn, Inverness and Forres. It is also possible that they have travelled to the Edinburgh area using public transport.

Ms Davis is described as 5’2 in height, medium build with dark brown hair worn in a side parting. She has tattoos on the top of her right arm and on her collar bone.

River Bain is slim with short dark hair. It is not known what they were wearing when last seen.

Please are anxious to trace Linzi and River to ensure they are safe and well and urge anyone who may have information on their whereabouts to make contact with Police on 101.

Officers would also appeal directly to Ms Davis to make contact by phoning 101 or via any police officer or police station.
