Cameron McNeil would like to invite you to his restaurant at 1a Alva Street EH2 4PH. It is brand new, and his first venture in Scotland, although he has a lot of experience behind him, working with Robin Hutson of Hotel du Vin and Angela Hartnett at Lime Wood in the south of England.
The restaurant has been open for a matter of weeks and already the reviews have been glowing. On Open Table his food is called ‘excellent’ and ‘top quality’, and the experience is described as ‘wonderful’.
This is exactly what McNeil wants to hear now that he has his own place, destined to be the first of many if the ambitious restaurateur has his way.
And when you get to this restaurant nestled in the West End, you will be served a beautifully prepared three course lunch for two at Forage & Chatter with a bottle of wine.
