Ian Moodie (red shirt) in action for Edinburgh University

Division One (men): Grove Menzieshill 2, Uddingston Riva 4; AAM Gordonians 1, PSL Team Sport Clydesdale 2; Watsonians 0, Bromac Kelburne 5; Edinburgh University 4, Western Wildcats 1; Hillhead v Grange postponed
Grange suffered a second straight postponement, this time at Glasgow club Hillhead, and now trail Division One leaders, Bromac Kelburne, by five points.
Plus, they will have to find dates for the two postponed games when the outdoor season resumes next year as the Edinburgh club also have to face Western Wildcats in Glasgow follow a previous cancellation.
Grange have 19 points from seven games while champions Kelburne have 24 from nine fixtures as the outdoor season goes into cold storage.
Elsewhere, Ian Moodie seems to score goals in batches these days. He netted five at the start of the season and four in a recent home clash and on Saturday he claimed a treble as Edinburgh University beat Western Wildcats 4-1 at Peffermill.
Watsonians suffered a fifth straight defeat when Kelburne earned a 5-0 victory at Peffermill despite a hard-working performance from the home side.
On Tayside, Uddingston Riva inflicted a major blow to Grove Menzieshill’s Division One title chances as the Lanarkshire side, who just escaped relegation last season, created a shock 4-2 result to move up to sixth position in the ten-strong table.
Grove’s defeat means they slip to fifth with 13 points, two ahead of Uddingston while second-bottom PSL Team Sport Clydesdale earned a welcome three points in a narrow 2-1 win at pointless bottom club AAM Gordonians as they aim to beat the drop.
