The travel team at Edinburgh Council has published a list of the latest roadworks and street closures in the capital over the next week.
There will be road closures on 20 September for the men’s and women’s 10K races between 5am and 2pm. There is a map here for the race which begins on the Royal Mile and ends at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
The streets at Carlton Terrace, Carlton Terrace Lane and Regent Terrace will be closed for a time from the middle of each day until 1am from 24 to 27 September for filming.
On North West Circus Place in the city centre there are to be pavement buildouts created at Howe Street and at Royal Circus. This is where there are often large queues of people outside The Pantry… but we presume there is a bigger road safety reason than that.
Every area of the city is included in the list below in alphabetical order of council wards.
If you see anything on the roads which is not on the list then let the travel team know on Twitter @EdinTravel or otherwise you can check on the Scottish Roadworks register which is a comprehensive list of places to avoid.
Updated versions of the listings are posted to the website most weekday afternoons, these can be found by going to https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/edintravel
Any new works or events are marked in blue.
