A second-half penalty from Martin Boyle secured a point for Hibs at Easter Road this afternoon.
The atmosphere inside the ground was flat ahead of kick off following the sacking of David Gray in midweek.
Block 7, the Hibs Ultras returned after a one match ban and produced a banner calling for Sporting Director Malky MacKay to go.
Interim head coach John Potter changed nearly half of the Hibs team that lost to Kilmarnock on Tuesday.
Captain Martin Boyle Owen Elding Grant Hanley and Miguel Chaiwa replaced Kanayo Megwa, Jacob Devaney, Ante Suto and Thibault Klidje.
Jamie McGrath had been due to replace Callum Wright but picked up a knock in the warm up.
The visitors took the lead in the 17th minute when Gavin Molloy’s shot from the edge of our box landed at the feet of former Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet who fired a low effort past Raphael Sallinger.
Hibs almost equalised five minutes later when Wright evaded four Dons challenges before his low cross was met by Elding at the near post but ‘Dons keeper Marius Müller saved well.

Two minutes after the restart Aberdeen almost doubled their lead. Findlay Marshall set upToyosi Olusanya through on goal however with only Sallinger to beat he dragged his shot wide.
Olusanya did have the ball in the net but he was well offside.
On 61 minutes Jason Kerr was pulled down by Jack Milne inside the box as they contested a corner kick, and referee Nick Walsh immediately pointed to the spot.
Skipper Boyle took responsibility and fired the ball straight down the middle as Müller dived to his right.
Both teams had chances to win but in the end a share of the points was probably the correct result.
After the final whistle Potter told BBC Scotland: “The feeling at the end was we definitely deserved a point. You get greedy and think we were pushing for a second and we did get into a few good areas and had a few efforts on goal. But we know Aberdeen are always a threat going the other way.
“But at Hibs we need to win games at home, it’s straightforward, but we’ll take the draw but there’s a bit of disappointment we couldn’t get three.”
Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson added: “I thought it could have been three, but a point is fair. We knew Hibs would have some sort of bounce in the second half, and they did.
“We sat a little bit too deep, but some of our counter-attacking play was really good. We probably have the best chance to win it with Jack Milne.
“But if you sit so deep, there is always going to be a mistake at some stage and we got punished for that. But the week as a whole has been very productive and positive.”
