One of Edinburgh’s favourite hidden gems, Pippin celebrates its 5th birthday on Friday 21st October with an array of free gifts to thank their loyal customers for their unwavering support.
Owner Erica Stahl is thrilled to have reached this milestone, “It’s such a great achievement to have been open for 5 years – the business has grown hugely since the day I first opened the doors. I’m very proud of what we do here at Pippin, and so grateful to everyone who has supported my dream so far.”
Pippin opened in 2011 with the aim of providing an original and unique selection of high-quality gifts and cards, supporting a wide range of independent designers and small companies from all corners of the UK. Locals embraced the shop from day one, and it has gone from strength to strength ever since.
The shop has dealt with more than its fair share of adversity, particularly during the tramworks which sadly drove many other small local businesses into the ground. Erica’s passion for the business drove her to keep fighting through the tough times, and with the support of such great customers, Pippin rose triumphantly from the cloud of dust!
Head down to Haymarket on Friday 21st for the birthday celebrations, where all customers will enjoy a free lucky dip gift, free entry into the prize draw, and goody bags for the first ten customers to spend £25. Pop in between 5-7pm for bubbles and nibbles, and see if you’ve won in the prize draw at 6pm – it’s the perfect opportunity to get your Christmas shopping started in style too.
