Nigel Griffiths was formerly Labour MP for Edinburgh South which is a large part of the Edinburgh Southern Holyrood constituency.
He told The Edinburgh Reporter:Â Â “This is a seat where the SNP were the incumbent at the last Scottish election, but I think they are poised to lose it tonight.
“I feel the air is going out of that balloon in Edinburgh Southern and the SNP are losing the momentum there. ”
He is backing Daniel Johnson the Labour candidate who is a shopkeeper in the constituency. We interviewed him here:
