Enter now before 3 pm on Friday 18 March 2016 and you could find yourself bopping along to Midge Ure, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Nick Heyward and Big Country on Sunday evening at The Edinburgh Playhouse.

The show will bring together four important parts of the music tapestry from the 1980s in one show called The 80s Invasion Tour. The acts will perform their biggest hits and with record sales of over 20 million among them this is the retro show not to be missed.

They also have 200 gold, platinum and silver discs and numerous other awards.

Big Country will play their signature song A Big Country which was a massive hit selling over 2 million copies and winning 3 US Grammy awards.

In August 1998 they were invited to open for the Rolling Stones on their “Bridges To Babylon” tour of Europe prompting Mick Jagger to say that Big Country were “one of the best opening bands we ever had”.

Midge Ure hardly needs any introduction to music lovers of a certain age, as part of Ultravox, an integral part of Band Aid but also surprisingly one a member of Thin Lizzy his powerful songs like Vienna and If I Was will all feature on the bill on Sunday.

Nick Heyward formed Haircut 100 and had four UK Top 10 singles ensuring that he became a pin up for teenage girls everywhere.

Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot was a member of Curiosity Killed the Cat which formed in 1986. Their most successful song was Down to Earth which got to number 2 and sold 1.5 million copies.
