Hibs’ defender Liam Fontaine is raising £1,000 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation, and is hoping that fans will get behind this worthy cause.
On Friday, the popular vice-captain is shaving off his trademark beard for the first time in five months, and is taking donations through his Just Giving page which is accessible via the club’s website.
The Sick Kids Friends Foundation (SKFF) supports and complements the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh (The Sick Kids) as well as other children’s healthcare settings across the southeast of Scotland and beyond. The Hibs’ squad spent time at the Sick Kids hospital before Christmas on their annual visit to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children
Supporters donating to the cause will also be in with a chance of winning one of three special prizes for their generosity, with a pair of signed boots, a signed training top and personalised photo from Liam up for grabs to three winners. Supporters should donate to the page by Thursday night to be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes.
