Police in Edinburgh have released CCTV images of a woman they wish to trace as part of their investigation into a serious assault earlier this year.
The incident happened sometime around 9pm on Saturday 22 August at the Ye Olde Inn, Davidson’s Mains.
A 21 year-old man was struck during the assault and sustained a number of cuts to his face. Officers are continuing with their inquiries to trace the suspect.
The woman in the CCTV images is of interest to this investigation and anyone who can help identify her is asked to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Andrina Cunningham said: “The victim sustained some painful injuries to his face, which are likely to leave permanent scarring and our enquiries into this attack are ongoing.
“We are keen to trace the woman pictured in the CCTV footage as part of this investigation and anyone who recognises her is asked to contact police immediately.
“In addition, anyone with any further information relevant to this incident should also get in touch.”
Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
