Leeds Festival will be kicked off this year with local label Dance To The Radio curating the Welcome To Leeds Stage on Thursday 27th August.
Django Django and Prides are two of the big Scottish acts that will be heading down south to play at both Reading & Leeds Festivals.
It will start the weekend’s proceedings with Leeds Festival veterans Pulled Apart by Horses headlining the stage. The band are returning to the festival after having to pull out of their appearance last year at the last minute down to illness, and are looking to give off an early raucous impression on the festival in 2015.
Essex rock ‘n’ rollers and Domino signees The Bohicas will also be on hand for a typically energetic set the same month as the release of their debut album The Making Of.
Youthful electronic-tinged four-piece VITAMIN will be on site showing exactly why they’re a band to watch out for whilst Leeds’ own guitar thrashing five piece Carnabells and Sheffield indie rockers Redfaces also join the fun.
These new acts join Main Stage headliners Mumford & Sons, Metallica and The Libertines plus Alt-J, Bring Me The Horizon, Kendrick Lamar, Royal Blood, Bastille, Jamie T and many more.
Leeds Festival takes place on 28-30 August 2015
