Finn Russell, Scotland’s fly-half, has been cited by an independent Citing Commissioner for a dangerous tackle – for which the player was yellow-carded – in the 30th minute of the RBS 6 Nations match between Scotland and Wales on Sunday.
The player’s hearing, before an independent Six Nations Disciplinary Committee of three, will be held later this week.

A player must not tackle an opponent whose feet are off the ground.

Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst
