The next Feeling Safe Community Forum public meeting will be held on Tuesday 3 June 2014, in McDonald Road Library. Doors open at 6pm and the meeting starts at 6:30. Local Council & Police officers will be available to meet those attending prior to formal business starting.
The Forum said:-“We are asking people to tell us what the City of Edinburgh Council (working with its partners) needs to do to make Leith a safer place. Let us know what your suggestion/ issue is and it could become a priority for us over a three month period. It could be an issue that affects a few homes, a few streets or the whole of Leith. “Once we have received suggestions, we will put the suitable ones to the public vote. The most popular will become our priorities for June, July & August. Anyone who lives, works, studies or volunteers in Leith will be able to vote online, or in person in McDonald Road & Ferry Road libraries. For more information please follow this link.
