Our capital’s airport goes from strength to strength announcing direct flights to Doha which start in May and now more options of travel to Scandinavia.
Edinburgh Airport and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) celebrated today with the start of the first of two new direct flights to Norway to operate from the airport this summer.
The first customers checked in this morning for SAS’s new direct flight to Oslo, with direct flights to Stavanger due to start on 24 April. Connecting two of Norway’s most popular cities with the Scottish capital, both routes will be twice weekly services, on Thursday and Sunday, operating until 05 October 2014, and are expected to appeal to both business and leisure travellers.
