Police officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Livingston woman who has not been seen since early Monday morning (December 2, 2013).

Alyson Smith, aged 42, is described as White, five foot five inches tall and of small build. She has short blonde hair and has a tattoo of a shamrock on her right arm.

She was last seen at her home address in Livingston around 7.30am on Monday morning and is believed to be wearing a knee length red woollen single-breasted jacket.

PC Bob Cochrane, based at Livingston, is leading the search for Alyson. He said: “Alyson suffers from health issues and with the deterioration in the weather this week; we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare. Anyone who knows where she is, or has any other information that would help us is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 or supply the information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
