The Rezillos have released a new studio album this Weeknd with all original songs co-produced by Fay Fife and Martin Metcalfe, marking their 50 years in the music industry.
Psycho Tornado is released on three shades of vinyl and on CD and digital on Last Night From Glasgow.
Formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1976, The Rezillos emerged at the same time as other bands in the punk rock movement, in their own unique bubble of raucous B-Movie Sci Fi tinged brash energy, memorable tunes and their own inimitable approach to music and live performance. Led throughout by founder members Fay Fife and Eugene Reynolds, they exploded on to the punk scene with hit singles including Can’t Stand My Baby and Top of The Pops (leading to memorable appearances on TV music shows Top of The Pops and The Old Grey Whistle Test).
Their first album from 1978 remains a classic album of the original wave of British punk music.
The Rezillos will appear at the Belle Angele on 12 December.
