Police are appealing for information following a crash on the A1 in East Lothian.
The crash happened around 8.15pm on Saturday, 26 September, 2026, on the northbound carriageway at the Innerwick junction and involved the drivers of a Nissan Quashqai and a Volkswagen Transporter.
Emergency services attended. The male driver of the Volkswagen and three female passengers were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Hospital staff describe the condition of one of the passengers as serious. The others were discharged after being checked over.
The driver of the Quashqai did not require medical treatment.
Sergeant Jamie Humpage said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to police, to please contact us.
“We are also keen to obtain any dash-cam footage from motorists who may have been driving on the road at the time of the crash.”
