20:40, 3-24 Aug, The Voodoo Rooms (French Quarter) – Venue 68, West Register Street, Edinburgh.

For one summer only, the people of Britain have the opportunity to benefit from a truly unique brand of problem-solving advice, given live on stage in The Dr. Hope Seminar Show: Hope & Gloria.

Everyone is invited to come along and discover how to manage difficult relationships, assess individual suitability for parenthood and frame enemies for crimes they didn’t commit. With advice on topics ranging from optimal fitness to the art of seduction and a skill-set to rival that of Oprah Winfrey and David Blaine combined, Dr. Hope promises to make people think differently about their approach to personal problem solving.

Small, strange and sometimes ridiculous, Dr. Hope is brought to life by RADA-trained writer and performer, Alexandra Maher, who brings her first solo comedy show to free fringe venue, The Voodoo Rooms, with a character who just wants to spread hope wherever she goes.
