This Thursday at 3pm Edinburgh Band The Asps will be playing The Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens as part of Scottish Fantasia which is a series of live music concerts during the Edinburgh Festival.
PJ Dourley lead singer of the band said “After the huge success of our gigs in Hyde Park and Victoria Park on what ended up being called “Super Saturday” as part of BT London Live we are now extremely happy to be playing in Princes Street Gardens where having Edinburgh Castle as the backdrop is something really special”
Although it will be a stripped down show with four members of the band as opposed to the normal six due to work committments PJ, Michael Barry, Chris Simpson and Lewis Hutchison are really looking forward to playing a “hometown gig” during the Edinburgh Festival.
This year has seen The Asps perform almost non-stop especially after winning Hard Rock Rising at Edinburgh’s Hard Rock Cafe and playing loads of concerts from Edinburgh to London via Dundee, Glasgow and a few more inbetween it is safe to say these lads are not resting on their laurels, after the rave reviews of the Hyde Park and Victoria Park gigs with more dates to come it would be a good time to get along to the Gardens to see The Asps perform before they really deservedly and hopefully hit the big time.
