The Link group of charitable registered social landlords, voluntary organisations and social enterprises has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold recognition.

Staff gathered recently to receive the award, which recognises the commitment Link has to continuous improvement through the management and development of its staff.

Link is especially pleased, in this its golden anniversary, to receive this award as less than 2% of organisations who receive Investors in People accreditation achieve Gold status.

Link Group Vice Chairman, Roy Stirrat said: “We are delighted to be in the top 2% of companies with Investors in People status. It is recognition of the approach we take as an organisation to make the best use of our people and resources to achieve efficiency, best value and continuous improvement in delivering high quality services to our tenants and customers.”

The Investors in People accolade also tops off a year where Link was named among the top 50 “Best Workplaces in UK 2011” and one of the top 25 “Best Workplaces in Scotland 2011” by the Great Places to Work Institute. The Best workplaces scheme honours and recognises organisations that have achieved outstanding effectiveness in HR and people excellence.
