A woman was killed last night when her car collided with a wall in Gilmerton.
Police in Edinburgh can now release the identity of the 38-year-old woman who died yesterday.
She is Susanne Lumsden, of Hyvot Grove, in the Gilmerton area of the Capital.
She died after the Vauxhall Astra she was driving collided with a wall in Gilmerton Road, around 6pm. She passed away at the scene.
Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the collision, and anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened should contact Lothian and Borders Police on (0131) 311 3131.
