Morningside Park has celebrated its green flag this morning with an official flag raising ceremony organised in conjunction with Morningside Community Council South Morningside Primary School and the local Children’s nursery, Head Start.
The Green Park Scheme recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces in Britain and twenty parks in Edinburgh all won this award, an amazing victory as there are only 34 awarded in the whole of Scotland.
