On the council website there is a page devoted to weekly planning applications as decided by The City of Edinburgh Council.
This week’s planning applications which in our view are worthy of note, include the following:-
A fast-track decision has been made by the council regarding the alteration of an existing doorway situated at 1A Market Street, to create the entrance for a new street-level hotel.
The complete demolition of 4 staff houses in the grounds of Fettes College (1,2,3,4 West Woods) has been granted.
Also in Dean Street (18-18a) an application has been approved to convert the existing clinic/offices in to a four storey residential Dwelling.
