We highlighted the plight of 26 year old Mark Cooper yesterday. Mark lives in a wheelchair adapted house in Edinburgh and wants to move to London. One of the ways he can do this is to swap houses with someone in a similar property so that he can then take up his position with ITV. Here he is with his letter offering him a job. Do you know anyone who might do an exchange with him for 12 months? Then get in touch!
We were up on the High Street yesterday but we missed this colourful wedding reported in The Telegraph…shame we would love to have brought you a photograph!
And now for some Festival news…
Leith Festival starts tomorrow. Are you taking part? Are you putting on a show? Tell us about it! We did a preview of Moving Lights Theatre a while back who are staging Blood Brothers.
The Guardian has agreed to sponsor The Edinburgh Book Festival. We wonder how much that will cost them?
Today we are off to the Fringe programme launch at the EICC – The Scotsman has a preview here – and we will have more news later. Looking forward to the bacon rolls….
