Ray Bradshaw, Scotland’s rapidly ascending Glasgow-based comic,
makes his full-run, festival debut at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe – coming straight off a successful stint at the Adelaide Fringe Festival – second in size only to ours – and just in time for the Gilded Balloon’s 30th Anniversary celebrations!
For an entire year, Bradshaw subjected himself to the whims of the public. Setting up a site in which anyone (truly anyone) could submit a dare of their own making, Ray had only one rule: barring legalities, he HAD to carry them out.
From taking out Scotland’s oldest woman for a whirl to taking on the globe of death (for a hurl?), Ray Bradshaw’s faced it all… and is now gearing up for the ultimate dare: surviving his first standalone show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
I Dare Ray To…
Going on a date with Scotland’s oldest woman…
Dancing in a Bollywood film…
Tackling the globe of death…
Representing his country at a sport…
Ray Bradshaw has given up a year of his life. For 365 days, Scotland’s next big comic was at the mercy of a cruel and unusual public, as strangers flooded the internet to propose him increasingly outlandish dares.
He had only one rule: whatever they asked, he had to do. Find out how he succeeded – and where he ended up – on his year-long adventure, in a show packed full of outrageous requests, enlightening occurences and death-defying… dates?
