Manchester City goalkeeper Eve Annets has joined  Hibernian FC Women on a season-long loan deal, subject to SFA approval and international clearance.

The highly regarded 20-year-old goalkeeper has signed for Hibs on loan for the 2026/27 campaign.

Annets joined City from Reading on a four-year contract in Summer 2024 and has spent time on loan at both Portsmouth and Crystal Palace across the last two seasons.

The English keeper has been capped at U19 level, keeping clean sheets in each of her first three youth international caps versus Denmark, Greece and Czechia, respectively.

Following her arrival in Leith, Annets said: “It is so good to be joining the Club for this season, I’m excited to play in front of the fans and to get to know the team.

“I’m really looking forward to getting started. ‘Mon the Hibees!”

Women’s Head Coach Joelle Murray commented: “Eve is a really exciting goalkeeper and someone we’re delighted to have brought in. She has some excellent qualities in her game – she’s composed, brave, physical and has really good reflexes.

“She’s also coming from a top-class environment at Manchester City, where she’s been training day to day with some of the best players in the game. That experience is invaluable, and we’re looking forward to helping her continue her development here at Hibs.

“We know she’ll bring competition, energy and quality to the group, and we’re really pleased to have her with us.”
