The schedule for the quarter-finals of the 2026/27 Premier Sports Cup has been announced with all four matches broadcast live – three on Premier Sports and one on the Premier Sports Player.
The last-eight action gets under way on Friday September 11 when Stenhousemuir – who knocked out Motherwell on Sunday to reach their first League Cup quarter-final since 1975/76 – welcome Heart of Midlothian to Ochilview, live on Premier Sports, kick-off 7.45pm.
Ross County’s reward for beating Dunfermline Athletic 2-1 at the KDM Group East End Park is a home game against David Gray’s Hibernian, with the match in Dingwall being shown live on the Premier Sports Player on Saturday September 12, kick-off 3.00pm.
Later the same day, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen go head to head at the BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park, live on Premier Sports with a 5.45pm kick-off. Neil McCann’s side reached the last eight thanks to a 3-2 win over Ayr United in a thrilling derby match on Friday night, while Stephen Robinson’s team saw off Dundee 3-0 at Pittodrie on Saturday.
The final game of a big weekend of football takes place on Sunday September 13 when Rangers take on Celtic at Ibrox Stadium, live on Premier Sports, kick-off 12 noon. The city rivals met in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals last season, when Martin O’Neill’s team won 3-1 after extra time, and meet again in the William Hill Premiership at Celtic Park on Sunday September 20.
