Police in Edinburgh are appealing for witnesses following a report of a woman in distress in the Corstorphine area of the city.
Between Monday, 25 and Wednesday, 27 May, 2026, officers believe a woman was seen to run into the roadway on Corstorphine Road, near the zoo.
Members of the public stopped to assist the woman and officers are looking to speak to these witnesses, particularly the taxi drivers who helped.
