Some 75 volunteers are being sought for a unique charity challenge based around Edinburgh’s five Victorian swimming pools.

On Easter Monday, 5 April, participants will be required to swim at least 1k, then walk approximately 16k between public baths at Glenogle. Warrender, Dalry, Portobello and Leith Victoria.

At stake will be support for Edinburgh Leisure’s Active Communities programme which has so far helped 14,700 benefactors to a better lifestyle through overcoming health challenges and various inequalities.

What’s also required to enter? Participants are asked to secure donations of £350 and pay a £20 registration fee.
