Glasgow Tigers boss Cami Brown and club co-owner Peter Facenna have confirmed that Chris Harris and Leon Flint are back for 2025 alongside new stars Kyle Howarth, Dan Thompson, Ashton Boughen, Freddy Hodder and Max Perry.

Tigers won the league title in 2023 and they have also won the KO Cup, two Pairs titles and boast one Championship Riders’ success in recent years.

Brown vowed: “This is a team bursting with talent and potential. We are very excited for the start of the 2025 campaign.

“We have built a side oozing with excitement because priority No 1 is delivering exciting racing and top class entertainment for the fans at Ashfield.

“We also believe we have a team with a mix of youth and experience. It was designed, by choice, to be all British, and home-grown is something we have yearned for in recent times.”

And team manager Brown declared: “It’s going to be all about the battling Brits. We have two leaders carved from the same stone. Chris and Kyle will give it 100 per cent in every race, home and away. That’s in their DNA.

“Then it’s just a really explosive burst of red-hot talent with Leon, Dan, Ashton, Freddy and Max.

“We have Chris as a three-times British Champion, Leon a British Under-21 Champion and both Leon and Dan have won the British Under-19 Championship.

“There’s no doubt that Ashton, Freddy and Max are very hungry to follow in their tyre tracks to success.”

The new-look squad had their first team camp in Glasgow on Monday and Brown said: “The spirit seems really strong. Next up will be the boot camp in February to get the boys in the best shape possible before the season starts in April.”

Ambitious boss Brown warned: “There’s little doubt it is going to be a sensational season of entertainment at Ashfield.”
