Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Pettycur’s Got Talent event – which will take place on Saturday 12 October.

Pettycur Holiday Park is bringing the event back for a second year, with a selection of diverse, locally sourced, acts waiting to perform in its Images Function Suite. Tickets are £5.

Last year’s show, featuring singers, dancers, acrobats and musicians, was won by local singer, Dean Campbell, who won a 50” TV, with another singer, Gregor Scott, placing second, and Ballroom Dancers, Conall and Ruby, coming third.

“We are delighted to announce that the tickets for Pettycur’s Got Talent 2024 are available now, at only £5 each, with all proceeds from ticket sales being split between our three adopted charities that we support as often as we can here on the park – the RNLI, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the Wolf-Hirschhorn Trust,” said General Manager, Janet Murray.

“Don’t miss out on the opportunity to come along to Images on the 12th October and watch the amazing talent that we have in the area! Once again we have assembled a top class field of performers, with something to suit everyone. Our thanks go to the performers who are putting themselves out there to entertain us.”

Janet added that the event, attended last year by 400 people, was likely to be boosted by the appearance of Stormy Stan, the Mascot of the RNLI.

She also revealed that if Pettycur managed to raise £2.5k for Guide Dogs for the Blind over the next two years, with over £850 already having been raised since May, the Park would be able to name a Guide Dog Puppy.

“This is very exciting for us,” said Janet. “We love to donate to the Guide Dogs and it would be fantastic if, with the support of staff, customers, and our owners, we could reach the total required to name a puppy. We would most probably do a social media competition to see if our customers could come up with a suitable name.”

“We will keep chipping away at the amount, and hopefully it won’t take us too long to achieve our goal.”
