Celebrating Dia de las Madres with an interactive afternoon of dancing, cocktails and dining.

Pop over to El Santo Latin American Bar and Restaurant in Glasgow’s Merchant City where they have a Mother’s Day celebration with a difference.

Taking place from 1.30pm until 5pm, this Sunday 10 March at El Santo, take your mum along to El Santo for an afternoon which perfectly mixes Margaritas with Samba dancing and Afternoon Tea.

Priced at £35 per person the afternoon involves making your own Margarita – the quintessential classic Cocktail of Latin America – with expert guidance from El Santo’s skilled mixologists. Then a lesson in Samba, with an hour long lesson led by a professional instructor.

After the dance lesson there will be time to enjoy a Mother’s Day afternoon tea with a host of treats given a novel Latino twist.

Panos Dimou, General Manager at El Santo said: “We think this fun and interactive Dia de las Madres (Mother’s Day in Spanish) is not only a bit different from the norm, but will be right up the street of a mum who is vibrant and lives life to the full.

“We’ve expertly mixed dance, music, mixology and indulgent treats into the perfect event for mums and grans everywhere. It’s multi generational, so we hope to see everyone joining in and having fun.”

“At £35 each, it’s also great value for money and will give all those who take part great memories to take away,” said Panos.
