As all the major parties get their campaigns underway today, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar and the Deputy Leader, Jackie Baillie will promote the party’e election message – a National Recovery Plan.

Mr Sarwar, said: “This election campaign must focus on solutions which will deliver a fairer recovery and a stronger Scotland.

“Over the next six weeks and beyond, I will focus on what unites us, not what divides us.

“Working to deliver a national recovery plan will be Scottish Labour’s only priority.

“We can’t rely on Boris Johnson’s Tories to deliver a recovery that works for everyone because they are happy to return to the failed economic model pre-Covid.

“And we can’t rely on the SNP to prioritise recovery because it has already made clear it will prioritise a referendum.

“It’s only by using both votes for Scottish Labour that people can guarantee we have a parliament focused on recovery.”
