Hibs fans will not have access to coverage of Sunday’s Premiership clash with Celtic at Parkhead after they decided not to open a pay-per-view option for the match.
Coverage of the game is restricted to Celtic season ticket holders via their ‘Pass to Paradise – ‘The Virtual Season Ticket’
The news comes as a disappointment to Hibs’ fans who were keen to see their team up against the champions after last week’s draw with the other half of the Old Firm.
Supporters will be able to listen to the game via Hibernian TV.
Meanwhile Celtic will be without influential winger James Forrest whilst Christopher Jullien is also doubt as he struggles to shake off a back injury after being out since the 5-0 win over Ross County.
Former Hibs’ midfielder Scott Brown limped off during Celtic’s victory against Riga but Neil Lennon is hopeful that he will be available.
Mikey Johnston is still out after calf surgery but Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths are in contention as they work their way back to fitness.
Meanwhile, Hibs are still without influential midfielder Scott Allan as the club explore a health issue affecting the player.
