Police officers are appealing for the public’s help to trace a teenager reported missing from the Howdenhall area of Edinburgh.
Sofia Aslam also known as Bushra, was last seen in the Howdenhall Road area around 6pm on Thursday 17th September.
The 15 year old has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.
Sofia is described as being a Pakistani female, slim build, 5ft tall with long dark hair.
When last seen she was wearing purple crop top, black jeans and white adidas trainers.
Sofia has links to the Scottish Borders area.
Inspector Cockburn from Howdenhall Police station says “Sofia has been missing for a number of days now and her friends are and family are understandably worried about her. We have a number of police resources out looking for Sofia and I am now looking for the assistance from the public”.
Anyone who may have seen Sofia since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4131 of the 17th September 2020.
