The Bass Rock Shore Angling League launch their winter series on Wednesday, September 9 with a Dunbar Rover.
Anglers can pick their location from Belhaven Bay to Dunbar Harbour and registration is at 6.15pm at the harbour and fishing is from 7pm to 10pm.

Still with sea fishing, Derek Anderson of Aquamarine Charters of Eyemouth reports a seasons bast of an 11lb ling and confirms that there are lots of mackerel to be had offshore.
On to coarse fishing now and there are still spaces in the draw for the unofficial Scottish Feeder Championships at Loch Ken on Sunday, September 20.
Information is on the SCFA Facebook site or the Loch Ken Community Banter page but registration is between 9am and 9.20am at the Boulders Car Park on the west bank of the water.
Fishing is from 11am to 5pm and the angler with the most weight takes the silverware.
Finally, a new fishing museum looking back at 200 years of angling on The Tweed has opened in Kelso Town Hall with over 2,000 exhibits.
