British Transport Police have appealed for help to trace two Hibs fans’ who were attacked at Edinburgh Waverley Station around 9.30pm on Sunday, March 1.
A man was reported to have been goading football supporters at the railway station before jumping on one fan, causing both of them to crash to the ground.
Due to the fall, the attacker suffered a broken kneecap and femur before assaulting another fan.
A spokesperson said: “Officers have identified the suspect but require the witness accounts of the Hibernian fans who were targeted.”
