The Hunter Foundation is holding its charity dinner at the National Museum of Scotland this evening and they invited renowned broadcaster Sir David Attenborough to speak to guests.
The plan is to interview Sir David on stage during the evening. We were on the ‘red carpet’ to see the main guests arriving and the VIPs include Brian Cox fresh from his success at the Golden Globes and Judy Murray.
As he entered the Museum, Sir Tom Hunter was accompanied by Theo Paphitis. Roseanna Cunningham, Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform, made an early entrance and Nicola Benedetti CBE will entertain guests.
Sir Tom Hunter said: “The climate crisis is one of the greatest threats to the future of our society so what better guest to welcome to Scotland than Sir David Attenborough. We look forward to hearing his thoughts on steps we can take as a nation to address the climate emergency, and reflect on his years as a natural historian and broadcaster.”
