After a hectic transfer deadline day, Hibs have signed St Mirren full-back Paul McGinn on an 18-month deal plus Greg Docherty and Marc McNulty on 6-month loan deals from Rangers and Reading respectively.
Swiss striker Florian Kamberi also moved to Ibrox on a six month loan deal.
McGinn told Hibernian TV: “It’s a really proud day for me and the family. No-one needs to tell me how big a club Hibernian is, or what the potential is.
“When the gaffer told me he wanted me to sign it was a very short conversation. I didn’t need to be convinced.”
Head Coach Ross Jack added: “Paul’s someone I’ve known and rated for a long time, since I initially worked with him at Dumbarton.
“First and foremost, his attitude is first class.
“He’s an intelligent player who can operate in a number of positions and I’m convinced he’ll be a good addition to the squad here.”
Docherty said: “I’m pleased to have got this loan move over the line and I’m really hungry to get going.
“I had the chance to go back to England and I appreciate the clubs who made an effort to get me but I feel like I know Hibernian and it was an opportunity I was really keen to take as soon as I heard about their interest.
“I’ve not played as often as I would have liked in the last few months but I’ve been pushing myself to be as fit as I can be and I’ll be ready as soon as the gaffer tells me he needs me.”
McNulty said: “I’m delighted to be back. Anyone who knows me knows how much I enjoyed my time at Hibs last season and how much I wanted to come back, so I’m grateful the people at the club pushed so hard to make it happen.
“It makes a difference knowing I’ll be playing for two guys who have already shown how much they want me and I’m looking forward to getting the chance to repay them.
“I also want to thank the supporters. From the day I left first time around I’ve had so many positive messages on social media. People probably don’t understand how much that can mean to a player.
“I’m desperate to be involved as soon as possible and help the team push on.”
