Hibs’ goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is aiming for a return to winning ways after the international break.

The Hungarian international was part of the side that kept four successive clean sheets in September and October resulting in four victories however results since the last international break have been disappointing.

Despite that, the 31-year-old insists that the narrow defeats at Celtic and Aberdeen, as well as the 0-0 draw at Tynecastle shows that the side are able to compete at tough venues and he is desperate for the team to recapture their form at home to Dundee next Saturday.

The on-loan Liverpool keeper told Hibernian Media: “Clearly you want to go into the international break by winning your last game. It leaves a good taste and it gets you ready for the next game.

“It’s a different situation that we are in than it was a month ago. We’ve had some tough games and unfortunately we didn’t come out of them with very positive results.

“Football is a game where you can be lucky in situations where you maybe don’t play well, but you still win. Sometimes you don’t get what you might deserve and sometimes you get what you deserve, but certainly, the results haven’t been what we were hoping for this month.

“The worst one for me was against St Johnstone where we didn’t play well and we got punished in the end.

“It is important to look at the performances and take the positives though. We knew we were going to be playing tough games away from home and we tried our best in those matches and did play well.”

“It would be great to go on a good run of form again and why not?

“Even the games we have lost recently have been very narrow. We have to do the basics that we have been doing really well and be a bit better going forward.

“We were creating chances a lot previously and it was brilliant, so we need to get back to being imaginative going forward again.

“The aim is to keep clean sheets at the back and to obviously score more goals than our opponent. We want to climb the table again and it will start with the game against Dundee.”
