Police are warning the Scottish public and business communities to be cautious should the following police-orientated email arrive in your inbox.

It is suspected this email maybe an attempt to deliver malware to recipients, commit fraud and/or steal your identity. There is currently no indication of any Scottish activity, however Police Scotland wish to raise awareness of the risks of malicious emails to reduce the impact on all Scottish communities.
