Police are appealing for witnesses following a wilful fire-raising which happened in a bin store in Forth Drive, Craigshill, Livingston around 1.20 am on Monday 27th November.

Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their inquiries to come forward.

Detective Constable Barry Carlin of Livingston CID said: “Thankfully no persons were hurt as a result of the fire, however significant inconvenience was caused to residents.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or anybody acting suspiciously at the time of the incident.

“Similarly anyone with any other information relevant to this investigation is asked to contact police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Livingston CID on 101, quoting incident number 0185 of 27th November, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
