Road Policing Officers this week teamed up with colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to deliver a motorcycle safety seminar in Midlothian.

The ‘Biker Down’ presentation was provided to a number of motorcyclists at Leadburn Crossroads Café, Midlothian on 24 August 2017.

Those in attendance were given advice on safe riding and were taught lifesaving CPR skills as part of the initiative, which is a collaboration of emergency service partners.

Inspector Roger Park said: “Ensuring the safety of motorcyclists and other road users is a top priority for Police Scotland. It was great to work with our colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to deliver this presentation which I am confident will have a positive impact on our aim of keeping people safe and reducing road casualties.”
