Katy Schutte is a Funny Women finalist and winner of the Best Comedy Show Latest Awards at Brighton Fringe. Katy is a world-renowned improviser, a cast-member of Knightmare Live, creator and star of the Ghostbusters musical Who Ya Gonna Call? and improviser in Happily Never
After.
Schutte the Unromantic is Katy’s new storytelling and stand-up comedy show. This is the tale of her trying to find love despite freezing up at chocolates, serenades and thoughtful surprises. Her story is an autobiographical account of the romantic gestures she has experienced in her life whilst being wholly uncomfortable with romance. The arc of the show follows the storyline of our most famous romcom movies, but the
touchstones are all moments from Katy’s life. This is a show for romantics and non-romantics alike.
For the record, Katy is perfectly happy to put Baby in a corner (she’ll have an excellent view of the room).
