David Howe misses Berwick Bandits’ home clash with Workington Comets today with concussion.

Dany Gappmaier is also absent riding in a Grand Prix qualifier and Lee Payne damaged his shoulder last weekend and sits out.

Todd Kurtz has been booked as a stand-in and Bandits will use rider replacement for Howe with Nathan Greaves in for Payne.

Jye Etheridge returns from his injury as Bandits welcome the current Shielfield Park track record holder, Craig Cook. He leads Comets who also include Thomas Jorgensen.

Workington have booked a guest for the concussed Rob Shuttleworth with Ryan MacDonald taking the rides. Tapes go up at 7pm.

For Sunday’s trip to Glasgow, Stoke’s David Wallenger covers at reserve while James Sarjeant guests. Remember the tapes go up at 6pm.
