They plan a short stop outside Edinburgh Sheriff Court for about half an hour where some of the members will compete in the shirtoffyourback competition.

This involves members having a signed shirt and they then film themselves taking this shirt off outside the court in a peaceful protest.

Flyers will be handed out and then the march will carry on taking a right on to George IV Bridge and marching down The Mound taking a left onto Princes Street and finally ending in Charlotte Square around Bute House.

A joint letter from many dads will be posted there.

It has just been 12 months since the support group was founded, and they now have over 20,000 members made up of dads and grandparents.

More information on the group’s Facebook page.
