Sheila Chapman is exhibiting her first solo exhibition of paintings, “Sheila Chapman – Forests,Kids & Nature”, which is currently taking place (until March 8th) at Embo Deli, 29 Haddington Place, Leith Walk, EH7 4AG.
Sheila explained :”I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art last June, one of the last remaining students on their part-time BA Combined Studies degree course.
“My exhibition at Embo is arranged via the organisation ArtSpace2Let which offers exhibiting opportunities to recent art graduates.
“I am inspired by nature, and am interested in the way in which people experience and connect with nature in our busy modern world, especially children like my own who are growing up in the city”
Sheila’s work has been sold to many private collectors in Edinburgh and beyond, and two of her degree show paintings were purchased for the Art in Healthcare charity’s permanent collection.
